Globetrotting Guide: Tulum

Perhaps someday we can spend the majority of the year in Tulum doing yoga, downing fresh juices, drinking out of coconuts and diving into crystal clear waters. Until that day comes, here's what our Gulf of Mexico itinerary looks like when we have a week away...

Drink & Dine: Posada Margherita, El Tabano, GitanoZamas, Hartwood, Casa Banana, and Papaya Playa along with Hemingway are great for lunch.
Stay: Coqui Coqui, the aforementioned Zamas, BE Tulum, Ana y Jose.
Shop: Mr.Blackbird, La Llorona, Mayan Clay, Mixik.
See: Cenotes Des Ojos, Gran Cenote, Ka'an Biosphere, Playa Paraiso. Any and all ruins, like the ruins of Coba and Chichen Itza. There are many, many ancient sites in the area, not just the Tulum Ruins. See them all!
