THE 12 R'S WITH DANIELLE PRESCOD

RECYCLE
What pieces and/or designers in your closet do you find yourself wearing again and again?

Right now, I have a uniform that consists of turtlenecks and mini skirts. With that I vary my shoe game between over the knee boots, sneakers and little block heels.

REFUEL
Favorite dining spots?
Bar Pitti, Serafina, BondSt, and Blue Ribbon Brasserie.

RELAX
Where in the world do you travel to for peace of mind?
Bermuda or my parents' house in Westchester.

READ
What’s currently on your nightstand?
I don't have a nightstand and also I am very against keeping hard copies of books. I have the kindle app on my iPad and I am currently into All the Light We Cannot See

RUN
Workout regimen?
I try to exercise at least 3 times a week. I run, do yoga, strength training and barre. I also play tennis. I used to dance and don’t anymore and that makes me so sad so now I just emailed my friend to see if she wanted to dance with me this weekend.

REINVENT
In terms of emerging designers, who is reinventing the wheel?
Vetements is one of my favorite new brands and now that Demna Gvasalia has been named creative director at Balenciaga, I am excited to see what he does next.

RITUALS
Any beauty rituals you swear by?
I see my dermatologist for regular pore cleanings every four weeks without fail. And I always, always, always wear sunscreen.

REPEAT
What music are you currently listening to?
The new Janet Jackson, especially No Sleep and Unbreakable. Travi$ Scott, Post Malone, Young Thug and Pia Mia.

REMARQUE
Any art galleries you frequent? Who is hanging on your walls?
This sounds so bad but I am never in any art galleries. I took a lot of art history in college and it never really stuck with me. It is probably because I am not rich. Art is for rich people. I have a lot of clothes. And on my walls are photos of me and my friends.

REFRESHMENT
Go-to libation?
Water if I am being good. Tequila if I am being bad.

REWIND
What film could you watch over and over?
 Monster in Law (totally serious).

RETRO
Most coveted decade for fashion? In which time period would you have lived, and how does it inspire your way of dressing?
It changes literally all the time! Sometimes I really love a '40s midi-silhouette and then at other times, I am super 90s, all about a crop top and a high jean. Right now I am loving the '60s, mod minis all day.
